Quarkscope is the creative label handmade by Eli Testerman.

I hope to explore artistic themes that resonate with me using a thorough and transparent production process. The methods I use are all publicly documented on my Instagram page and are as environmentally conscious as possible.

The Black Heron collection is inspired by my last few years of life, primarily as a student. The feeling of being a pawn in an incomprehensibly complex and towering institution was a core experience I wanted to include in this work, and will probably remain an underlying theme of Quarkscope work to come. With Black Heron, I wanted to take that oppressive feeling and use it as a backdrop for the more positive aspects of my experiences as a student, including the agency and youthful energy.
